We will help you get into a 10-month Chinese language course, a full preparation course, full-time studies or comprehensive career development packages combined with an internship.

  • Anyone under 35 years of age residing in the EU (40 for doctoral studies) can receive a government scholarship.
  • A high school diploma is required to join the IFP (International Foundation Programme).
  • In case of the university scholarships, the requirements are determined by the policy of the particular university.

To obtain a scholarship, you don't have to take any additional exams (*art/design courses excluded)

It depends on the province or even a city in which you will study. In smaller cities, a scholarship will be sufficient to cover living expenses. In bigger metropolises, such as Beijing or Shanghai, you will need to cover part of the costs on your own. However, taking a scholarship funding into account, even in the biggest cities, living expenses still will be lower than the cost of living in Poland.

In this case, we will refund the entire amount paid, excluding only the registration fee (800 PLN).

The first scholarship allowance is paid several weeks after the participant's arrival. Then the participant gets money for the previous month and the next one.

Yes, our residents are living in the city you will study in. You will have a resident's number and throughout the course, you can contact him in case of any need. The resident will pick you up from the airport, drive you to your place of residence, show you a university and campus. What's more, he will help you set up a bank account, to which you will receive scholarship bank transfers.

Highest-tier scholarships (University Scholarships/CCN/Government) can cover:

  • tuition fee 
  • cost of accommodation, in the form of on-campus accommodation (dormitory) or monthly equivalent ca. 700 CNY
  • Monthly pocket money - the amount depends on a scholarship programme and studied degree level.

The value and content of a university scholarship vary, based on individual scholarship's factors.

Two, most important breaks, without a doubt, are holiday breaks: Summer Holidays (ca. 7 weeks, July-August and Winter Holidays (ca. 6 weeks, January-February). There are several public holidays too.

Remote learning usually is held on DingTalk platform, which allows conducting online teaching. The platform supports chatting with a teacher and other students, sharing presentations, video calls and other similar functions known from familiar platforms such as Zoom or Hangouts.

Sometimes, at the time of signing the contract, the interested person is not able to obtain certain documents yet but wants to be sure he/she has his/her place booked in the particular programme. In that case, he/she can sign a contract and pay 800 PLN of application fee only. 

Depending on the campus, the dormitories can be equipped with single rooms. However, if the student cares about privacy and his university does not offer such an option, he can rent a double room himself (by paying for two people) or rent a flat. We can help you to rent an apartment.

As standard, applications for the winter semester (from September) are accepted from February to July, while for the summer semester (from March) you can apply from October to January.

Bachelor degree applicants in China are admitted for up to 25 years, and master's up to 35 years. Candidates for doctorates are accepted until the age of 40. In the case of language courses, this depends on the particular university.

No. We work with many universities and we approach each case individually. The universities presented on the website or in the information sheet are those with which we conduct permanent cooperation or cooperation for a specific program.

Of course. You can apply for programs taught in English. If you want to study in English, please contact us and ask about the availability of study programs and scholarships in the selected field.

Yes, you must confirm your English proficiency with a certificate. Usually, it's TOEFL, but some universities accept other language certificates or even documents confirming a given language level issued by a school or university.

We can schedule a call with current students or graduates. If more people are interested in such a conversation at the same time, we will arrange a group interview. On page 20 of the UEA guide, you can also find a case study of graduates of one of the programs we offer.

Yes, we can organize an online Chinese language course. However, it is worth to consider, that as part of the UEA career program, students have access to the online learning platform (Digital Campus), which allows them to prepare for studies or education at their own pace and scope. Perhaps it will turn out to be a better option for you - we will be happy to advise you on what to choose.

We do not organize a charter flight, but we can advise you on which flight to choose, to come to China according to the academic's year schedule.

There is no clear answer to that question, as it depends on the selected program. However, you can assume that the language course or studies will take approximately 4-6 hours a day. You should count in self-study additionally.

During winter time, China is 7 hours later than in Poland. This means that when it is 19:00 in China, it is 12:00 in Poland. After switching to daylight saving time, the difference is levelled up to 6 hours.

Sure. Many people who contact us have had contact with the Chinese language in the past. Such people can continue their education. For IFP programs, we encourage you to get to know Tracks B and C. Joining a higher group usually requires the presence of an HSK certificate at the appropriate level.

All teachers in the introductory levels of the language course are fluent in English. It is useful at the beginning of learning as it allows you to translate, for example, grammar issues more efficiently. However, this does not matter in the later stages of learning, as the more effective method of teaching is to explain things in Chinese.

Scholarships for fields such as medicine or law are some of the most difficult to obtain. However, studying Chinese medicine is a different case. It is worth consulting the situation with us.

In provinces you can work on a student visa for several hours a week (7-8 hours). It requires an additional permit, which can be obtained from the office for foreign students.
